  Due to allergies, personal choice and other dietary or personal restrictions, we ask that your child bring a lunch from home.  This provides a little comfort of home during the day and allows the children to see what others are eating and therefore sparks a curiosity for trying new things during meal time at home.

  We also understand that our parents sometimes feel as if they are in a "lunch box slump". We hope that these ideas will help inspire you to be creative when planning your child's lunch. Lunch should be simple, healthy, and nutritious.


For those who only eat hot foods

​​​We do not offer our oven, stove or microwave oven to heat your child's lunch. We do suggest that foods be heated at home in the morning and placed in a wide-mouthed thermos. You can find these thermoses for sale at stores such as Target and Walmart.

  • Macaroni and cheese

Lunch ideas for the younger crowd

  • Yogurt
  • Pasta
  • Cut-up fruit and veggies

  • Graham crackers with peanut butter

  •  Plain noodles with topping-butter, pesto, Parmesan

  • Mini-Bagles with toppings-  cream cheese, hummus

  • Cheese quesadillas

  • Tortilla roll-ups using cream cheese, turkey,

           avocado etc.

  • Sandwiches cut into different shapes 
  • Make -your-own Lunchables

  • Roll string cheese with lunch meat
